He consults with the hosts on every aspect of the event, agreeing all necessary timings, procedures and protocol. It is the Toastmaster’s role to advise on etiquette, ceremonial precedence, correct form of address and the general conduct of any particular occasion.

Your Toastmaster is there when you need him. Richard's attention to detail and
continuous unobtrusive liaison, throughout your event, will ensure that it keeps
to time and flows effortlessly.

Typically, Richard will,

	Announce your guests and present them to their Hosts
	Make your guests feel welcome and relaxed
	Announce the order of proceedings
	Gain silence and attention for Graces, speeches and toasts
	Ensure that your Artistes and entertainers are ready to perform and Introduce them
	Act as Auctioneer, Fundraiser or Raffle/Tombola prize caller
	Liaise with Banqueting staff, photographers and videographers
